North Atlantic Inc. (NAI) and its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Bali Seafood International (BSI), are charter participants in three Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs) in Southeast Asia that are listed on fisheryprogress.org. Currently, we source fish from the Indian Ocean Tuna and large pelagics longline FIP, Snapper-Grouper, and other demersal FIP in Aru, Arafura. All operate in conjunction with the Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and local trade associations like the Indonesian Tuna Longline Association and the Indonesian Tuna Association.
